The beginning

Oásis Atlântico was formally created in 1998, although its genesis lies well before that date, starting with the purchase and recovery of Hotel Porto Grande (Mindelo) in 1995 and even before that, when in the early 90s, after a vacation trip to the islands of Cape Verde, a group of founding partners acquired Companhia de Fomento de Cabo Verde, a former salt extraction and exploration company on the island of the same name.
